Event Details

Ken Davis is a best-selling author, a frequent radio and television guest and a very funny guy. Ken is one of the most sought after inspirational and motivational speakers in the country. He is a master story teller who serves up life changing truth in a feast of laughter and poignant wisdom. The story of his life plays out like a sitcom. Who else enjoys sitting on a motorcycle at the edge of the highway pointing his wife's hair drier at traffic? Who else has a collection of over 200 airsick bags? Who else has locked himself out of his hotel room and ended up in the lobby wearing the latest edition of USA Today?

Only Ken Davis can put together stranger than life stories of tragedy, triumph and hilarity and use them to drive home insights that cut to the heart of living fully alive. Because Ken knows what human fallibility is all about, he communicates with gut level honesty. He connects with his audience. His mixture of side-splitting humor and inspiration delights and enriches audiences of all ages. Ken is an award winning author of nine books including the "Book of the Year" award and the Gold Medallion Award. The video and audio tapes of his live appearances are sold worldwide.

Ken has been the keynote speaker for hundreds of major events addressing groups as diverse as the Gaither Praise Gathering, The Kellogg Corporation, Focus on the Family, and Pentax Corporation. He has made thousands of personal appearances around the world.

As president of Dynamic Communications International, he teaches speaking skills to ministry professionals and corporate executives. Ken's daily radio program, Lighten Up!, is broadcast on over 1,800 stations worldwide and spotlights his gift as a storyteller and comedian.

Ken was born and raised in Minnesota and is a graduate of Oak Hills Christian College. He and his wife, Diane, live in Tennessee where they can be close to their two daughters and six grandchildren. The entire family is involved in Ken's ministry, bringing laughter and liberating truth to people around the world.
