Graphic Designer & Social Media Coordinator
Shipshewana, IN. Blue Gate Hospitality is seeking a Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This position will be a photographer, designing marketing materials and managing our social accounts for five different divisions within our company. Our ideal candidate is experienced and can work in print design, blogs, emails, photography, and social media platforms. This is an on-campus position, not remote.

Kitchen Line
Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant to work on the kitchen line. In this fast-paced job, you will ensure that all plates are portioned properly, look professional, and leave the kitchen efficiently. Other responsibilities include:
•	Making salads and sandwiches.
•	Stocking and organizing the line.
•	Cleaning and sanitizing the workstation.
•	Preparing and making chicken.
•	Operating fryers.
•	Assisting with various kitchen tasks as assigned.
You could be a good fit for this position if you are detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

You will be scheduled to work an eight-hour shift on the kitchen line up to four times weekly, including days, evenings (our closing shift), and Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays! The hourly wage for adults starts at $16.00 per hour. Experience is not required, and we provide paid training. Dishwasher
Join our kitchen team as a dishwasher at The Blue Gate Restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. You will efficiently clean and wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work area as a dishwasher. In addition, you will maintain bus carts, tubs, the dish machine, and garbage containers. Other responsibilities include keeping the entire dish room area sanitary and orderly, including the dishwashing machine, wash mats, and sinks. A dishwasher will also polish the dishwasher and perform nightly closing duties and tasks as assigned by your managers.
 
Dishwasher Requirements:
· Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for an entire shift, bending, stretching, moving, and lifting. 
· Must agree to work the closing shift, including Fridays and Saturdays.
· Must work efficiently and perform well within a team environment.
· Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

As a part-time dishwasher, you will work up to four weekly shifts, on our closing shift, from 4:00 pm until finished (possibly midnight), including Fridays and Saturdays. No Sundays! We provide paid training, and adult hourly rates start at $13.00 per hour.

Blue Gate Hospitality is searching for someone to work on the 2nd shift at the Blue Gate Bakery (2:00 pm until 10:00 pm). While working in bakery production, your responsibilities include packaging, organizing, and pricing various delicious goods, including bread, cakes, cookies, and pies, as well as cleaning and other duties. Work full-time or part-time up to five shifts per week, including Saturdays. The starting wage is up to $16.00 per hour.

Breakfast Attendant
Join our team as a breakfast attendant at the Blue Gate Garden Inn, a beautiful facility in Shipshewana, Indiana. Our breakfast attendants help ensure that each guest gets a great start to their day by preparing a delicious breakfast for every guest. Some job duties include making simple breakfast foods and quick order items such as omelets, serving guests, stocking the buffet, cleaning up, washing dishes, and other tasks as assigned. 

As a breakfast attendant, you will work part-time from approximately 7:00 am until 11:00 am (the times can vary), three or four weekly shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays. Adult wages start at $14.00 per hour with a $2.00 per hour shift differential on Sundays.

We are hiring year-round servers/waiters/waitresses to work part-time, up to four shifts per week, including Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Experienced servers make, on average, between $100 and $300 per shift. Saturdays are required! No Sundays!

Join our kitchen team as a food prep worker at The Blue Gate Restaurant. We are a busy restaurant in the heart of Amish country with visitors from all over the country. We are focused on teamwork and a consistent quality product. Your effort will ensure that guests enjoy a good meal and leave with a smile.

Food prep workers' responsibilities include the following:
•	Preparing food.
•	Following recipes.
•	Make simple dishes.
•	Assembling and plating meals.
•	Cleaning and sanitizing your work area.

Salad Maker Responsibilities:
•	Wash, cut, slice, and chop lettuce, vegetables, and chicken. 
•	Properly plate salads for portion control and appearance.
•	Put salad dressings and condiments into serving side containers.
•	Stock cooler with salads and side items (Must be in stock at all times)
•	Maintain a neat and orderly workspace.
•	Perform other duties as needed.

A salad maker will work three to five times weekly, including mid-day, evening, and Saturday shifts. Adult pay starts at up to $14.00 per hour.
