Join our Blue Gate Garden Inn team as a full-time night auditor. You will run the front desk area overnight from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am on Sunday through Thursday nights in this position. The night auditor will audit all accounts to ensure the funds are balanced, which includes closeout of various accounts and transfers when necessary, preparing and transmitting night audit and other detailed reports, and other night audit functions. Other night auditor duties include: • Nightly lockdown. • Monitoring security cameras. • Cleaning the work area. • Other tasks as assigned. As a night auditor, you will work independently overnight. Experience is preferred, but we provide paid training! The hourly rate starts at up to $18.00 per hour! Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will effectively communicate with guests from all over the country, from welcoming them upon arrival to thanking them as they leave. Your primary responsibilities are: • Greeting guests • Answering questions and providing information • Taking guests to their table • Operating a cash register A Host/Hostess works a rotation on stations with different responsibilities daily, which provides variety and helps develop new skills. A host/hostess can work full-time or part-time, up to five eight-hour shifts per week, including evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays. No Sundays! Adult wages start at $15.00 per hour. Food Prep Worker
Join our kitchen team as a food prep worker at The Blue Gate Restaurant. We are a busy restaurant in the heart of Amish country with visitors from all over the country. We are focused on teamwork and a consistent quality product. Your effort will ensure that guests enjoy a good meal and leave with a smile. As a food prep worker, your responsibilities include the following: • Preparing food. • Following recipes. • Make simple dishes. • Assembling and plating meals. • Cleaning and sanitizing your work area. • Other tasks as assigned. Experience in the food industry is helpful but optional. We cross-train all team members to provide them with the knowledge and skills to work in all areas of our kitchen. Paid training is provided! We have part-time food prep worker jobs available. You would work an eight-hour shift up to four times weekly, including days and evenings (our closing shift). Saturdays are required! We are closed on Sundays. Adult wages start at $16.00 per hour. Some of the responsibilities of a banquet server include preparation, delivering hot food promptly, clean up, and other side-work. Our banquet servers take pride in providing excellent meals to our guests and having fun at the same time! Banquet servers make up to $20 an hour with wages and tips. This can be a seasonal or year-round job. Banquet servers work part-time, make good money, and get a flexible schedule.
