Food Prep Worker - Mornings - [Feb 20, 2026]
Join our kitchen team as a food prep worker at The Blue Gate Restaurant. We are a busy restaurant in the heart of Amish country with visitors from all over the country. We are focused on teamwork and a consistent quality product. Your effort will ensure that guests enjoy a good meal and leave with a smile.
 
Food prep workers' responsibilities include the following:
•	Preparing food.
•	Following recipes.
•	Making simple dishes.
•	Assembling and plating meals.
•	Cleaning and sanitizing your work area.
•	Other tasks as assigned.
 
Experience in the food industry is helpful but optional. We cross-train all team members to provide them with the knowledge and skills to work in all areas of our kitchen. 
 
We have a full-time morning food prep position from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (hours may vary), five times per week. Open availability is preferred! Saturdays are required! We are closed on Sundays. Adult wages start at $18.00 per hour based on industry experience and availability.

Assistant Catering Manager - [Feb 16, 2026]
The Blue Gate Theatre has been a family-owned and operated company in Shipshewana, Indiana, for more than 35 years. The Blue Gate Performing Arts Center is a 1500-seat premier entertainment venue ranking in Pollstar's top 100 theaters worldwide each year and an ACM Theater of the Year Nominee. In addition, the PAC presents over 100 national touring acts yearly, attracting guests from every state and many countries. The Catering Manager provides artists & crews with the best dining and hospitality experience possible while efficiently using resources in this exciting environment.
 
The Assistant Catering Manager helps oversee all catering operations at Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. In this position, you will plan, prepare, and serve meals to entertainers, visitors, and groups from across America and other countries, reporting to the Catering Manager. The Assistant Catering Manager is also responsible for supervising and training staff, including the bartenders, catering, and concessions staff. Essential job functions include, but aren't limited to, food quality and presentation, cost control, facility appearance, and guest and employee safety. You will maintain a great work environment by promoting positive communication, leading by example, and having fun. Managers will assign other duties and responsibilities.
 
The Assistant Catering Manager will work full-time. Weekly hours, assignments, and departments will vary, including catering, the Blue Gate Garden Inn, and the Blue Gate Restaurant. Fridays and Saturdays are required and are the longest workdays each week! The pay range is $22 to $25 per hour based on experience.

Join our team as a server/waiter/waitress at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. A server/waiter/waitress should be friendly, outgoing, and focused on providing excellent service to each guest! Your job duties include:
• Welcoming guests.

Housekeeper - [Feb 20, 2026]
Join our team at the Blue Gate Garden Inn as a housekeeper. Housekeeping duties include cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, as well as other assigned tasks. A housekeeper will work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute off-the-clock break five times weekly, including weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are required!
 
As a housekeeper, you work five days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential on Sundays.

Some responsibilities of a banquet server include setting up, plating food, delivering hot dishes promptly, cleaning up, and performing other side tasks.

Breakfast Dishwasher - Weekends - [Jan 20, 2026]
Join our Blue Gate Garden Inn breakfast team as a weekend dishwasher, working from 8:00 am until noon on Saturdays and Sundays. As a dishwasher, you will efficiently clean and wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe, organized work area. In addition, you will maintain bus carts, tubs, the dish machine, and garbage containers. Other responsibilities your manager can assign include keeping the entire dish room area sanitary and orderly, including the dishwashing machine, washing mats, and sinks.

A breakfast dishwasher will work on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. The starting wage is $14.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential on Sundays.
