Blue Gate Hospitality is searching for a 1st shift baker to work at the Blue Gate Bakery (6:00 am until 2:00 pm). This person will assist our bakers in producing a variety of delicious goods, including bread, cakes, cookies, and pies. Experience baking at a commercial bakery or restaurant is required!

As a baker, you will work up to five weekly shifts, including Saturdays (required). Pay starts at up to $16.00 per hour. 

Baker Requirements:
•	A background in making baked goods from scratch
•	An understanding of measurements and multiplying ingredients
•	Must be able to perform the job's physical requirements, which include standing for an entire shift, lifting 50 pounds or more, bending, stretching, etc.
•	Ability to work independently and follow instructions
•	Accuracy and efficiency in the products you produce
•	Must be at least 18 years old

Join our kitchen team as a dishwasher at The Blue Gate Restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. As a dishwasher, you will efficiently clean and wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work area. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of bus carts, tubs, the dish machine, and garbage containers. Other responsibilities include maintaining the entire dish room area as sanitary and orderly as possible, including the dishwashing machine, mats, and sinks. A dishwasher will also polish the dishwasher and perform nightly closing duties and tasks as assigned by your managers.
 
Dishwasher Requirements:
•	Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for an entire shift, bending, stretching, moving, and lifting. 
•	Must agree to work the closing shift, including Fridays and Saturdays.
•	Must work efficiently and perform well within a team environment.
•	Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
•	Communicate professionally and effectively. 
•	Must be at least 18 years old.

As a dishwasher, you will work from three to five times a week, including Saturdays and our closing shift, 4:00 pm until finished (possibly midnight). Your work hours will vary. No Sundays! We offer paid training, with adult hourly rates starting at $14.00 per hour.

Join our Blue Gate Garden Inn team as a breakfast attendant! This is a 1st shift position with approximate hours of 7:00 am until noon. You'll help the team set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, assist our guests to ensure they have an enjoyable experience, and then help with closing the buffet and cleanup duties, including washing dishes. 

Other Breakfast Attendant Job Duties:
•	Preparing breakfast dishes
•	Making quick-order items such as omelets

Wages start as high as $14.00 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour shift differential on Sundays. Working on Saturdays and Sundays is required!

Job duties include scooping ice cream, making and serving pizza and chicken wings, operating a cash register, and other tasks as assigned. Work up to five times a week from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm (the hours could vary), including Fridays and Saturdays. (required!). The days and hours will vary based on the season. Adult pay starts as high as $15.00 per hour.

Join our team as a server/waiter/waitress at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. A server/waiter/waitress should be friendly, outgoing, and focused on providing excellent service to each guest! Your job duties include:
•	Welcoming guests.
•	Guiding them through the menu.
•	Offering personalized suggestions.
•	Taking and processing accurate orders.
•	Delivering food and drinks promptly.
•	Doing side work as assigned.

A server/waiter/waitress can work full-time or part-time, from three to five days a week, from 10:00 am until closing, typically around 9:00 pm, including evenings and Saturdays. We have six-hour and ten-hour shifts. A server can earn between $100 and $300 per shift, including hourly wages and daily tips.

Some of the responsibilities of a banquet server include preparing food, delivering hot dishes promptly, cleaning up, and performing other side tasks. 

Our banquet servers take pride in providing excellent meals for our guests while also having fun! Banquet servers make up to $20 an hour with wages and gratuities. This can be a seasonal or year-round job. Banquet servers work part-time throughout the year, make good money, and have a flexible schedule.

Operating a cash register
Communicating accurately, effectively, and professionally

A Host/Hostess rotates stations with different responsibilities daily, which provides variety and helps develop new skills. A host/hostess will work up to five times weekly, including Fridays and Saturdays. No Sundays! Adult wages start at up to $15.00 per hour.
