With their harmony-drenched vocals and warm, easy voices, the Booth Brothers have been sharing their faith and their music full-time since 1998. These men get their musical influences from a wide range of performers - from the Eagles to the Gatlin Brothers to legendary Gospel greats such as Bill Gaither and Mosie Lister - but their inspiration comes straight from God.
Ronnie and Michael grew up with the sound of music in their home. Raised in Tampa, Florida, their father, Ron Sr., sang in several southern gospel groups, including the Rebels Quartet. Ronnie and Michael began traveling with their father as the Booth Brothers in 1990. Father and sons ministered together for the next eight years, singing wherever God opened the doors.
In 1998, Ron Sr. retired from the stage so Ronnie and Michael began looking for a new singing partner. They had several capable singers come through the group, but most recently teamed up with Jim Brady, formerly of The Shulers. The newest "Booth Brother" actually had his first gig with the brothers at a Gaither event. "We didn't even have a chance to really practice," Ronnie says laughingly, "... we just met him at the event. We ran through a couple of things and then we went on stage!" But the combination worked from the beginning and Jim has become an integral part of the trio.
This trio has been gracing fans and blessing audiences with their appearances on the Gaither Homecoming tour and their own fairly heavy touring schedule over the last several years. They are known for their high energy and humorous yet touching concerts, but their deepest desire is to show God's love, grace and forgiveness through the song God has given them to sing.
The Booth Brothers' dedication to the music they love has rewarded them with multiple awards and recognitions. Included among these are Trio of the Year, Male Group of the Year, Best Live Performer of the Year, Song of the Year and various other honors.
Greater VisionSince organizing in1990, Greater Vision has been inspiring audiences with their rich vocal blend and their effective ability to communicate the message of the gospel. Over the years, Greater Vision has established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian music, and has become the most awarded trio in the history of Gospel music.
The vocals and rich harmony Greater Vision has become recognized for are a direct result of the blending of three unique and versatile vocalists. Gerald Wolfe, the group's founder and emcee, sings the lead. Prolific songwriter, Rodney Griffin, handles the baritone part for the trio, while Chris Allman, also a prolific writer, sings the tenor.
The Singing News Magazine and the Southern Gospel Music Association have named Greater Vision Gospel Music's Favorite Trio. They have also received numerous honors for Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Video of the Year, and Artist of the Year. Additionally, Rodney Griffin has been named Songwriter of the Year every year since 1998, as well as Favorite Baritone. Gerald Wolfe has been named Favorite Male Vocalist seven times.
Every day of the year, Greater Vision is heard by thousands of radio listeners, both on traditional Christian stations, and via Internet radio on the world-wide-web. They are also seen regularly on the In Touch television program, hosted by Dr. Charles Stanley, and have also been featured on the Gaither Gospel Series.
Refusing to rest on current and past success, Greater Vision pursues excellence with each new recording endeavor. They are most-often teamed with Dove and Grammy Award-winning Arranger, Lari Goss, on projects including their latest, The Only Way recording. Produced by Gerald Wolfe, this new recording features new songs written by both Rodney Griffin and Chris Allman. Once again, affirming their commitment to clearly and effectively communicate the message of the Gospel with powerful lyrics and inspiring musical arrangements.
Almost 200 times every year, the three gentlemen collectively known as Greater Vision, unite to present the gospel in a way that has endeared them to audiences across the United States and around the world. Their deepest desire is to encourage the Christian listener to share their faith with others and to cause the listener who isn't a believer to see their need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. With each new opportunity, Gerald, Rodney, and Chris continue to move forward as they share their "Greater Vision."
Legacy FiveWhen the Legendary Cathedral Quartet retired in December of 1999, Scott Fowler and Roger Bennett decided to continue the rich musical tradition of Southern Gospel Quartet singing. Legacy Five was organized and had their official debut in January 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia. Since that day, they have made a major mark on the Southern Gospel Music world. Immediately audiences responded overwhelmingly to their four-part harmony and their ability to effectively communicate the message of Christ. Since the quartet's formation, they have established and maintained a firm place at the top of Christian music.
Legacy Five has enjoyed more success in their short career than many groups experience in decades. In their first ten years, The Singing News Magazine, Southern Gospel music's leading fan and trade publication, has nominated Legacy Five for some 75 Singing News fan awards. Year after year they are recognized as one of Gospel music's favorite southern gospel groups. The Southern Gospel Music Association honored Legacy Five with Recording of the year and they have had 2 Dove Award nominations.
Legacy Five has been featured on numerous video tapings of the Gaither and friends Homecoming Video series, which has sold multiple millions of copies worldwide. They have also appeared on In Touch, with Dr. Charles Stanley, as well as In Touch Ministries' sponsored cruises. Legacy Five is also regulars at Dr. David Jeremiah's Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. Viewers across America have seen Legacy Five on TNN, TBN, Sky Angel, INSP, GMT, The Odyssey Network and a host of local channels.
The rich four and five part harmony that Legacy Five has become noted for are the result of a masterful weaving together of five unique and versatile talents. Glenn Dustin sings the bass, Scott Howard sings the baritone, Scott Fowler sings the Lead, Gus Gaches sings the tenor and Trey Ivey is the group's pianist
